For those of you who weren’t aware, 6rounds was recently entered into the TechAviv Peer Awards. For those who were aware, thanks for voting
TechAviv is a global organization where Israeli Entrepreneurs from all over the world connect to one another in monthly meetings. We were excited to take part in the competition, especially since this is the first year that the TechAviv Peer Awards took place.
For over 100 companies, the voting for the best Israeli startup began three weeks ago when the public were asked to select and vote for their favorite startup. Thereafter, it was down to the TechAviv Founders Club members to narrow the vote to five finalists who went on to compete against each other last night at the IDC Herzliya in Israel.
The 5 startups presented in front of 200 founders and investors who then sent SMS votes which crowned the best Israeli startup of 2009. We were the last to appear on stage and demoed 6rounds live in front of the audience. You can see a snapshot we took during the demo below:

We are proud to announce that we came in 3rd place against some great competition. Our opponents presented very well and we would like to congratulate them all; 5min (the winners), face.com, Colnect and My6sense. If you’d like to watch all the presentations, you can check them out below:

Great post and pic. Congrats again on your really impressive showing and for your guts to do the only live demo of the night!
